2014 Wendouree Cabernet Malbec 750ml Billecart-Salmon Several parcels from this siteWendouree Cabernet Malbec is based on rare 19th century vine stock material including malbec plantings from between 1898 and 1960, which provide the wine complexity, interest and a variation of theme. After traditional vinification, maturation takes place in new (20%) and seasoned French oak. This is a profoundly individual wine with intense, bright fruit, underlying maturation notes and firm but pronounced tannins. Critic tasting note: (2014 vintage)
