Small is more suited to mice and small hamsters as it's 16cm x 10 cm and 15cm tall

I do not use plywood

If you want a sturdier fit you can use pva glue (it's pet safe) to secure  I ship them flat/dismantled to avoid huge postage costs to keep it affordable to you so sometimes they need a little glue so they don't tilt
